Identity has social consequences across localities. The mutilation of LGBT persons for entertainment has occurred around the world without public interest for centuries. Forces in a society that exist for the justification of everyone, in reality work for only the high ideals of a culture and exclude those marginalized groups, leaving little attention, to atrocities often committed against those who are LGBT. This large triptych of posters employs the power of visual non- idiomatic communication to portray actual scenes of slaughter of LGBT persons (Russia circa 2014). In the center of these two scenes of mutilation, I place myself as a voice in the LGBT community calling for a moment of reflection and questioning in the context of this slaughter how valued is my identity ?
